Dang it! I just did it again. What? Bought 5 more Tommy John Second Skins. The first time I swore I wouldn't spend this much on underwear. That was a couple years ago and 4 orders ago. I'm an old guy and can tell you these Tommy Johns are so comfortable you will buy more of them. And I am amazed at how well they hold up. Not only a perfect fit, but so easy to wash. I like the boxer briefs. Of the 15 pairs or so I've had, only one ended up with the piping on one leg separating. But that also happened catching a toe on it putting them on. And forget the white. Buy the darker colors and they don't EVER stain from sweat or otherwise (you know what I mean). Yes I swore I wouldn't like them enough to buy more at this price, but I have 4 times now. You will too. Tip: The second skins are so comfy and light material. You find yourself traveling or camping these are so easy to hand wash and will buy in a few hours. Sort of like technical hiking/camping gear these are very easy to hand wash and air dry.Fitment tip for a first timer: I am in between medium and large. 6 foot, 175lb 33" waist and a small butt (ok sometimes a 34" waist) I find medium just a bit too tight. Not constrictive tight. I have been buying large and its perfect for me. They are VERY elastic, so they will stretch quite a bit. The mediums I have are still OK, but I find the large more comfy and due to the built in stretch still fit my waist after many washings..I can never go back to the old ways, the dark times are finally over, my goods can finally feel safe and secure once again. Very comfortable, very breathable, price is a bit high, but there are a few things you shouldn’t skimp on in life.We had heard from numerous people that these were the best men's underwear around so we decided to try them. They were right! They are well made and the softness is unimaginable.I've been looking to upgrade from Uniqlo Airism, and I've had a hard time finding the perfect pair. These trunks from Tommy John come the closest. They're super comfortable, the inseam is the perfect length for me, and they don't ride up. I vastly prefer them to Mack Weldon, which has uses less luxurious material and has a reinforced leg band that feels constricting to me. David Archy trunks had a shorter inseam and irritated my skin. Terramar Silkskins are really close, but they have an uncomfortable reinforced waistband.The only downside for me is the price. It's really hard for me to justify more than $30 for a single pair of underwear. Still, I might have to bite the bullet and buy in bulk.Best Underwear available, only issue is the price. But when they have a sale, I'm always going to buy more. Was a Mack Weldon user before switching to TJ, so I know my comfort underwearSo I have listened to countless podcasts that advertise how comfortable Tommy John’s are. And the first time I found out how much they cost I was honestly a little taken aback. 30 some odd dollars for a pair of underwear? Well there is a reason for that. These things are comfortable and they don’t ride up. Now I’m a man with what the people referred to as a bubble bubble bubble butt and a lot of times I have a problem with underwear creeping up we’ll see. And these have not done that at all. So all in all I understand the price we will see how they hold up and if If I am in love with them six months to a year from now.I would also like to say that Tommy Johns has the guts to advertise on radio programs and podcasts that lean to the right which a lot of people run from these days.
